School Holidays
Join the Discovery team and get hands-on with an array of dino-mite activities that immerse you in learning about prehistoric time. Find out about how dinosaurs lived and why they went extinct!
Daily Activities;
- Dino science show (12:00PM and 2:00PM)
- Planetarium (10:30AM,11:30PM,1:30PM, 2:30PM)
- Vertical Slide (11:00AM, 1:00PM, 3:00PM)
- Paleo Dig Hands-on Activity
Due to high demand we are asking anyone who would like to attend a planetarium show this school holidays to prebook a session for two dollars. So if you would like to explore the wonders of space up close add on a planetarium ticket now before tickets sell out! To Tricera–top it off the Discovery Vertical Slide will be open three times a day to let you experience gravity in a way you may never have before!
Pinot and Picasso Discovery Pop-up!
Book your kids in these January school holidays where they will create and take home their very own masterpiece of the new Rex artwork while getting some fun time in at Discovery! Who doesn’t love a Dino!? Please note that the slide and planetarium will not be in operation as part of their exploring at the Centre.
Adults and parents are asked to drop their kids off and return at 5.30pm. Water will be provided, please BYO snacks and other drinks.
Please add your child’s name and age under the additional comments when booking tickets.
Our Creative Artist Hosts hold current working with children checks (WWCC) and are ready to deliver a fun experience for all!
No alcohol is permitted at this event.
