Helping Regional Schools
Regional and rural students often face barriers to accessing high-quality STEM education, missing out on hands-on learning that builds confidence and future opportunities.
Discovery is committed to changing that. Last year, our team travelled more than 30,000 kilometres to deliver free workshops to small, regional, and remote schools, bringing science to life for students who might otherwise never experience programs like these.

Introducing Girls in STEM
Discovery’s Girls in STEM programs create safe, inspiring spaces where girls can explore ideas, build confidence, and see science as a place they belong. With hands-on activities, supportive mentors, and opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, participants discover new possibilities and imagine future pathways in STEM. These programs are only free because of the generosity of local organisations, Zonta, Rotary Club Bendigo, McClure Civil Management, and Coliban Water, who believe in lifting up the next generation of innovators.
