Get ready to unleash your curiosity and plan your next adventure at Discovery. Whether you’re visiting for the day or exploring what’s on offer, you’re in the right place to find everything you need for your visit.  Booking online is the easiest way to secure your tickets, especially during busy periods like weekends and school holidays. To make the most of your time, we recommend checking ticket prices and session times below before you arrive.

We suggest allowing at least two hours to explore our hands-on exhibits, and three to four hours if you’d like to enjoy everything, including the Vertical Slide, the Planetarium, and our live lizard and insect demonstrations.

Pricing & Tickets

Choose the ticket option that suits your visit. General Entry includes access to the centre, with more than 100 hands-on exhibits and a variety of daily sessions, including the Vertical Slide. Planetarium Tickets let you enjoy one of our incredible dome shows. Or bundle both together for the ultimate Discovery experience.

What’s on at Discovery?

At Discovery, every visit is full of science, wonder and fun. With daily sessions, hands on activities and a calendar of special events, there is always something happening for curious minds of every age. Whether you are dropping in with the family or visiting with a school group, you will always find something new to explore, try and learn.
Public Transport
Discovery sits right opposite Bendigo Train Station and the bus depot, making it quick and easy to reach by public transport for all visitors.
Car Parking
Bendigo Marketplace carpark via Mitchell Street, Edward Street and Arthur Street and has over 1,200 free car park spaces including disabled car park and parents with prams parking spaces.
Bus Parking
Bus parking is available alongside the Marketplace loading bay, enter via Arthur Street. There is additional bus parking behind the Marketplace.
Facilities
You’ll find toilets on the ground floor, including an accessible toilet with a baby change room for families. Showers are also available for sleepovers.
Accessibility
Discovery is a place for everyone to explore, learn, and have fun. Our centre is wheelchair and pram friendly, with ramps and accessible toilets on the ground floor.
Food & Drink
Take a break in our dining area or resting spaces. Bring your own food, refill at our Coliban Water fountain, or visit nearby Bendigo Marketplace cafés.
